You may remember Terri from her 7 years in banking at ANZ, which has given her quite the expedient edge to bring to her new chapter in real estate. Not to mention, her diploma in photography and 10 years spent photographing weddings in Auckland and the Bay of Islands has greatly added to her skill set. Now, she’s ditched the brides and bridezillas to snap away at properties in Kerikeri with the REAL Team – and boy does she have a talent for it!
Originally from the Hokianga, Terri moved to Kerikeri at 10 years old and attended Kerikeri High School for a while before heading south again to attend Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland. Once the final bell rang, this travel bug went off to explore her way around Australia and Europe. Walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain with the Hendl tribe was one of the highlights.
Now hitched to a local Kerikeri builder, Doug, and with 2 gorgeous kids Ruby and Oska, Terri fills her free time dashing to the beach with the family. With Doug and Oska madly into surfing, Terri and Ruby take on the whitewash and dream about their next Balinese expedition (surfing destinations only of course).
Another passion and talent of Terri’s, is interior design. A shopping spree to this gal is hitting the home décor stores – no wonder property is in her blood. Together with her handy hubby, Doug and Terri have also built 2 homes in Riddell Road as well as renovated 2 other homes with a good ol’ hands-on approach.
We’re absolutely thrilled to have this brilliant lass on our team, and we’re sure you will too.
Working with Terri was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Terri had genuine care and integrity throughout the whole process, and her communication was always very clear and honest. I felt supported every step of the way and she was always available for any questions. I highly recommend Terri to anyone who is selling their house.
From the outside, Terri’s passion for property is all about the person and the home, and she genuinely delights in matching the right home with the right buyer. Throughout the process, nothing was too hard or too small for Terri to handle. She helped us as buyers by ensuring the vendors were happy with our offer and kept them informed on how everything was progressing. She also made sure we had a home to live in when we were caught between two settlement dates. This was my wife’s first home purchase and my fifth, and it was a great experience for us.
So no one is actually perfect, but as to Terri and the job she did selling our home, she came close. From our first meeting, we were filled with confidence regarding her market knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm. She did exactly what she said she would: she kept us informed, followed up, and closed the deal. Property transactions can be stressful, but we had fun with this one. Thank you, Terri.
