Community: At the Heart of REAL

Community is at the heart of everything we do at REAL. This year, we've committed to supporting more local causes, contributing to these amazing organizations who do such terrific work for the people of our region:

• The Blue Heelers Fishing Competition: Raising funds for Mike King’s “I am Hope” foundation, promoting positive mental health.
• Caring Families, Kidscan, and Movement for Archie: Donating to help young people in need.
• Foster Hope: Providing care, love, and support to children in care.
• Hospice Mid North: Providing gift baskets for the teams at the annual golf event and a free drink on the REAL team for every player at the event, helping to raise over $25,000.
• The Red Cross Knitting Ladies: Supporting their amazing work providing baby clothes to underprivileged children across the Far North.
• Rotary Fundraising Charitable Dinner and Auction: Raised $58,000 for the Northland Rescue Helicopter. We proudly display our signed shirts from The Sail GP team (featuring Blair Tuke and Pete Burling) and the Crusaders (Taimati Williams) in our office, representing excellence in teamwork and inspiring us to continually improve our performance.
• Northland Rescue Helicopter: Steve shared his personal experience with the service as part of a public relations campaign, highlighting its value to the community.
• Northland Blaze Netball Team: Providing sponsorship to support local athletes.
• Kerikeri Business Association: Providing financial support for the beautiful hanging flower baskets that adorn our main streets through the summertime. We encourage other businesses to contribute and help make our town a great place to live and visit!
• Our Kerikeri Community Charitable Trust: Pledging funds and ongoing power to light up the town at night by decorating a number of trees in the town centre with lights.
